The Ontario government is investing in festivals and events across the province, with special funding for first-time events! The Experience Ontario program provides support for festivals and events with a tourism economic impact to motivate visitors to discover Ontario, connect people with local experiences, and increase tourism spending.

Applicants can apply between now through December 16, 2025 by going to: https://www.tpon.gov.on.ca/eo/

The Experience Ontario 2026 program is being launched through two funding streams:

Capacity Building Stream: a brand-new stream with funding support specifically for new, first-time festivals and events in Ontario

Established Events Stream: this stream will support recurring Ontario festivals and events, including those that may have previously received Experience Ontario funding.

Funding will help organizers deliver unique experiences that encourage people to discover Ontario, connect with neighbours, enhance local partnerships, create dynamic communities, and foster pride among residents.
