MPP Pierre is pleased to announce additional funding for Community Agencies that support Burlington.
Seven Community Agencies providing services in Burlington received additional new funding to support their operations in the year 2024/25.
These agencies provide services to support children and adults including individuals who have mental health concerns, those with developmental disabilities, people who have experienced domestic violence and those who have experienced sexual assault or violence.
These community partners are key to helping the government to achieve our shared vision of choice and inclusion.
The total new funding for these 7 agencies for this fiscal year (2024/25) totals over $1.9M.
We are proud to work alongside these agencies to help maintain services for vulnerable people, recruit and retain qualified staff, so that we can continue to deliver vital services in our community and across Ontario.
